“Beyond 5 stars! I’ve been here for only a day but this motel is the best I’ve ever seen! The place looks good a pool and a park for kids! Lots of rooms with lots of channels, complimentary food etc. free wifi is always nice but what I love the most is the food! The bar looks amazing and the menus are so exotic! They ave me extra food and I didn’t even ask! There’s my proof of how polite and approachable the workers are! This is worthy of 6 stars! Not 5 I hope I can afford to live here soon!”

“Wow, who’d have thought you could check self and horse in at same motel, with a really good Italian restaurant onsite. Well that’s just what I and my 9yo daughter did - checked selves and pony in at Stockman’s and enjoyed a lovely dinner at Papa Luigi’s. Our host Doug was very friendly and very accommodating of our circumstances, the room fully met our needs and the restaurant was an added bonus. Ideal for equestrians especially but recommended for everyone. Pony loved his stable/yard too!”

"From the 1st phone call to arriving the staff were very friendly. We arrived & were greeted by the manager. We got to our room, an economy queen room which was 1 of 4 in a little house. Absolutely blown away at the standard for $110. Nice & fresh, clean & well set up with everything you need. We ate at the restaurant, omg, outstanding service & food. Very reasonably priced, big portions. No street noise at all & a light breakfast was provided complimentary to start the day off. Needless to say we WILL definitely be back.”

Not only is it very convenient to AELEC, the rooms are also so very comfortable, and, this year, the staff went out of their way to ensure I was able to stay in my favourite room.”

“Stayed Friday 31 May. King Delux room.
Not an issue with anything- big room, comfortable bed, bathroom suitable, very quiet- out of town. Room smelt fresh. 20meters to Italian restaurant. Placed an order, walked over and collected 25mins later - food was good. Was nice to have a room to relax in after a 8 hour drive. Manager was great to chat to on the phone. LOVED the check-in and check-out process. Will definitely stay again. Fully recommend.”

“Thank you. I can’t thank the Owners and staff of the Stockman’s Motel enough. My husband and I spent one night there mid December 2023, on our way to our holiday. The day before NYE my husband was injured in an accident and flown to Tamworth Hospital. I spent the next two weeks at the motel. They were so accomodating and lovely. The rooms are huge, there is a guest laundry and the grounds and pool are wonderful. I can’t recommend this motel enough.”
